3 Day Tour from Ouarzazate to Erg Chigaga Dunes

After breakfast, return by camel to M’hamid for lunch. In the afternoon, we’ll embark on a 45 km off-road journey in a 4×4 vehicle to the majestic Erg Chigaga Dunes. During this drive, you’ll encounter various desert landscapes, including erg, reg, hammada, and oases. Upon arrival at our desert camp, you can climb the highest dune (approximately 300 meters) and immerse yourself in the warm, soft sand while enjoying a breathtaking sunset over the vast dunes. Experience a unique sense of freedom and tranquillity. Afterwards, you can try your hand at sandboarding down the dunes. Back at the camp, freshen up with a shower before indulging in a delicious three-course dinner served in the restaurant tent. In the evening, enjoy traditional music performed by the nomads around the campfire, under a magical starlit sky. You can choose to sleep in a nomad tent or outdoors beneath the stars.

Wake early to witness the stunning sunrise from the top of a dune or enjoy breakfast before we begin our journey back to Ouarzazate. Our route involves 100 km of off-road driving through the desert, following the historic Paris-Dakar Rally route across the dried-out Lake Iriki. Look out for fossils in this unique part of the Sahara! We’ll stop for lunch at Foum Zguid before continuing our journey along paved roads. We’ll also visit the village of Taznakht, famous for its exquisite Berber carpets. Arrive back in Ouarzazate in the afternoon, concluding your unforgettable desert adventure.
