    Itinerary

Begin your Fes to Marrakech Desert Tour with a morning departure from your hotel or riad in a comfortable 4×4 vehicle. Journey through the stunning Middle Atlas mountains, passing by Ifrane, known as the "Switzerland of Morocco" and a popular ski resort. As you travel to Azrou, renowned for its Berber carpets, enjoy breathtaking views of cedar and pine forests, particularly vibrant in spring. After lunch in Midelt, continue to Erfoud via the scenic Ziz Valley and Errachidia, where the landscape transforms into palm trees, Berber villages, and traditional ksars. Visit the charming desert towns of Erfoud and Rissani before arriving in Merzouga, home to the spectacular Erg Chebbi Dunes. Here, witness a magical sunset from the highest dune, followed by a night spent in a traditional Berber tent at a desert camp.

Rise early to catch the sunrise over the dunes before returning to Merzouga on camelback. Continue your adventure through the High Atlas Mountains to the breathtaking Todra Gorge, where towering rock walls change colour throughout the day. As you drive from Tinerhir to the gorge, admire the lush palm groves, pink rose gardens (in spring), and traditional Berber villages. After exploring Todra Gorge, proceed to Boumalne Dades, navigating through red mountains and valleys adorned with palm trees and mud kasbahs. Spend the night in a cosy riad-style guesthouse in Dades.

After breakfast, take a leisurely walk in Dades Gorge before heading towards Ouarzazate. Divert from the main road to visit a Berber family living in caves and enjoy traditional Moroccan tea. Continue through the Valley of Roses and the village of Kelaa M’Gouna, famous for its stunning rose landscapes and annual Rose Festival. Explore the Valley of a Thousand Kasbahs and the beautiful Skoura Oasis, stopping to visit the renowned Kasbah Amridil. Arrive in Ouarzazate, known as the "door to the desert" and Morocco’s Hollywood, where you’ll spend the night in a local hotel or guesthouse.

After an early breakfast, embark on the final leg of your Sahara Desert tour to Marrakech. Your first stop is the iconic Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site celebrated for its stunning earthen architecture. This traditional pre-Saharan village has been featured in numerous Hollywood films, including "Lawrence of Arabia" and "Gladiator." Continue through the High Atlas Mountains along the ancient caravan route to Kasbah Telouet, perched at 1,800 meters (5,900 ft). This historic kasbah boasts intricate mosaics and wood carvings reminiscent of the Bahia Palace in Marrakech, with breathtaking views from its terrace. Finally, drive through the scenic Tizi-n-Tichka mountain pass, the highest in North Africa, before arriving in Marrakech in the late afternoon, concluding your unforgettable journey from Fes to Marrakech.
