Drive to Agdz: We will head towards Agdz, meaning "resting place," located along the old caravan route. Here, you’ll see Jbel Kissane, named for its resemblance to glasses of tea set behind a teapot. Exploring Draa Valley: As we enter the Draa Valley, you’ll be captivated by the oasis filled with Berber villages, 17th and 18th-century kasbahs built from mud and straw, and lush palm groves framed by the snowcapped Atlas Mountains. Visit Zagora: Our next stop is Zagora, an administrative centre known for its iconic sign "Tombouctou 52 jours," indicating the journey time to Timbuktu by camel. Tamegroute: We’ll proceed to Tamegroute, famous for its green pottery and Koranic library. You’ll have the chance to visit a pottery workshop to see artisans at work, creating beautiful pieces using traditional methods. If the Koranic library is open, a guided tour will allow you to explore its impressive collection of ancient manuscripts, including texts on astronomy, medicine, and mathematics.
