Day-by-Day Itinerary
7:30 AM: Pickup from your hotel or riad. Journey through the stunning High Atlas Mountains, crossing the Tizi n Tichka pass (2260 m). Enjoy breathtaking views as you weave through mountainous terrain and traditional Berber villages. Arrive in Taznakht, famous for its colourful carpets. Take a moment to appreciate the craftsmanship before enjoying lunch in this charming village. Continue your adventure through rocky landscapes to Foum Zguid, the gateway to the Sahara. After approximately three hours off-roading, arrive at your desert camp at the foot of Erg Chigaga’s towering dunes. Enjoy a thrilling camel ride at sunset, followed by a delicious three-course dinner prepared by local nomads. Sleep in a cosy traditional nomad tent or choose to lie under the stars for a truly magical experience.
After a hearty breakfast, begin your journey back to Marrakech.Travel the same scenic route, stopping for lunch at a local spot.Arrive in Marrakech by late afternoon, filled with memories of your Sahara adventure.
